Problems With Snooper Truckmate

Hi,

Having a big problem with my Snooper Truckmate of late. I cannot get it to pick up a GPS signal at all, even tried leaving it on the patio for a few hours and still nothing. It still thinks I am at Keele services on the M6 where I last turned it off a few days ago.

Anybody else had a similar problem, did it fix itself or does it just look ■■■■■■?

i aint had that problem with mine , it even works in my house and my phone and my garman struggle and with that …
just a thought , have you done any updates recently ■■
you could phone them to see if they have collapsed in a heap and the system is down or summat …

Does it have a reset button, if so, try that :wink:

I’ve had the same with mine , go into the settings it shows gps signal (reset it works much better
with the mag mount antenna into the socket on the back top left if looking from the back!

No i think you mean Snooper is crap thats the problem :laughing: :laughing: if I have paid for it to be installed in my cab I’d be severly ■■■■■■ of but luckly my boss wasted his money :laughing: :laughing: :laughing: :laughing: :laughing:

The only time mine doesn’t work (no solid signal0 is when the unit is stone cold, it has done it since I got it, what I usually do is warm it up by placing it next to the night heater outlet on low for 10 mins if I have left it in the boot of my car.

You could try a reset aswel, switch on the back.

Thats for the digi tv mate, the gps antenna is built in

think you will find 2 sockets on the back under rubber bungs the one on the top left is for gps ariel top right for the tv looking from the back.The same ariel will do both jobs! but it will work much better pluged in
