Hi guys, I am having problems with fuel card company. The bottom line - they don’t want to give me a card because I am not on electoral role. I even said that I can prepay it, however they said that until I am on electoral role, the will not be able to do nothing. Now I submitted paperwork to put myself on electoral role but a lady in council told me that they will put me on a system only on December and she will not be able to do it faster.
Guys, How would you deal with such issue■■?
If youre prepared to prepay then why dont you get a prepay credit card?
Just use a cashback credit card. It’ll work out cheaper than what the fuel card companies ■■■■ you for.
I just always thought that it is cheaper to buy fuel through fuel company than direct with a credit card.

It is, depending on what you’re doing - UK only or other. Be careful where you shop for fuel and you won’t loose out too much using a credit card, so I would do that until you can get a fuel card sorted, but even then they’ll probably still want some form of deposit or guarantee. There seems to be a lot of BP fuel card re-sellers all fighting for business, so may be worth having a call around.
Good luck

A little bit cheaper than main road service stations, next weeks price for me is 107.5, which with the VAT is 129 a litre, according to petrolprices.com/ average pump price is 133.22, although cheapest is 127.9. Think OP may have no choice but to use debit/credit card until name is on the electoral roll.

104.49 next week with bp card via be Fuels. Edc the email said 105.10 but after sending them the Bp price they came down to 104.14. Who are you using Vince ?
Worth considering there are downside to being on the electrol roll like jury duty and anger that what ever lot you vote for nothing ever changes for the better.
Wing and a prayer:
