The old forum had private messages, I kept some of mine for the replies. Are these accessible and if so how please?
The saved PMs are gone forever I’m afraid 
This discourse forum doesn’t have “private messages” (PMs) we now have “direct messages” (DMs) which as far as I can see cannot be saved.
(Though I could be wrong

Whilst I don’t have a problem with the new forum format I do think the direct messages are a backwards step from the PMs of the old format.
TN forum is a mere shadow of it’s former self. I stick with it but in it’s present format I don’t think it will ever recover. I hope I’m wrong.
It looks like I was wrong about not being able to save DMs.
It’s not something I’ve used much so I’m just testing it, at the moment it looks like DMs are automatically saved under the DMs tab on the sidebar.
Of course that’s not much use if you want to read your old PMs from before the change over but it’s something.
