Some companies from the Preston area. The Scanias were on Brock auction mart car park and the Rich
tanker in their yard at Longridge. The other two were out and about.
Any info on this firm?

Cheers mate.
No problem, it doesn’t tell you much other than they come from Treales but the picture
on the website might explain why they re-registered the 8 wheeler with COW.

Great seeing the old M/E MAN. The firm I work for (J.T.Leyland of Milnthorpe) bought that MAN off LAB here it is with Tommy Leyland and his border terrier.
H.Hunter from Tarleton, near Preston, showed this Albion at the Kirkby Stephen & Brough Rally a couple of years ago.
Photographed here , as it makes its way over Asby Fell on the road run
.

Seen here, taking a break from its usual work , is Wayne Catts Scania R 500. This vehicle was taking part in the " Preston Guild " celebrations
procession around Preston`s city centre last Autumn. The bl**dy bald-headed berk shown in the photo , suddenly
grew
a foot taller just as I clicked my camera.Cheers, cattle wagon man.
Hi CWM, Just noticed I was across the road from you near the white building,

I bet it was a good motor. My boss was so impressed he bought more MANs after that right up until the F90. He had a C reg 361 MAN which he bought brand new and was only scrapped about 18 months-2 years ago after being used as a shunter. We still have a N reg M90 MAN on local work. Shame the new MANs don’t have the reliability of the old 'uns.
A few from the Preston Guild Thread.
