Pressed "No" for end of day on tacho but it was

Hi all. I’m new to using tachos so have a newbie question
I pressed no when the tacho asks for end of day as I thought I would be driving again. But I didn’t end up driving again. Will this matter? I also didn’t register a break as the wagon went Into the garage to be repaired just before my lunch. I only clocked up about 2.5 hours driving and I was 20 mins away from the 6 hour WTD break. Thanks I hope this all makes sense

So you removed your card and you haven’t entered it since?

Then you can do what you like with your manual entry when you next insert your card.

I’ve never come across that end of day question, is it a stoneridge tacho? I don’t think it means anything.

That’s right I didn’t enter my card again. I’m not sure on the tacho type to he honest. Thanks for the reply

I think what option you had with the ‘yes/no’ thing is just whether it does a print out or not. So most people select No. and then it ejects.

I may be wrong. But it does not sound like you have broken any regs.

I agree. The only thing that I can attribute the message to is some tachos ask if you want an end of day printout before the card is ejected.

Think the tacho maybe asked you 24 HR day . Meaning do you want a print out.
When you start tomorrow your maybe get a message saying rest untill. Now when you insert your card…if not just do a manual entry for rest.
Either way your be fine .
Plenty videos on YouTube on how to do a manual entry .to. f or rest is easy.
Gets a bit complicated when adding on other work and rest etc.

Thanks that would make sense because I press yes for end of day and then no for print in UTC time and I was always confused why it printed out anyway

This makes sense thankyou because I do press yes at the end of the day 24hr thing and no for print in UTC time but it still prints so thankyou

That’s because you have said yes to a printout and then no to UTC, so it will print in local time format!!
