Just this site and it doesn’t happen every time, but I’d say it’s the majority of it. It’s only started doing it this past hour or so. Never had any problems before and nothing’s been changed at my end.

I’ve just been searching and can’t find that anyone has had this problem before
I’ll be honest I really don’t know that much about computers other than getting around the basic problems ect hopefully simon, repton or krankee will be able to help I’ll leave a message in the mods forum so they see this post

SAorry Rob!

Try reseting your Modem, the modem is like a little computer that changes anologue to digital and vice a versa.
Sometimes it gets confused or full.

I don’t think it’ll have any effect, but have you tried clearing your cookies and browsers history files?
That’s the usual first suggestion for web site problems.

Have you disabled ‘Java Script’ ?

Java Script, either enabled or disabled wouldn’t do this, as far as I know.
I use Mozilla’s Sea Monkey suite, with Java Script enabled, with no problems btw.

Someone has had a look now and it seems your the only one with the problem Rob so I’m not sure what can be done about it

Rob have you got a HTML editor running on your PC.

What looks like is happening is instead of getting the interface the rest of us are getting your getting the html codes.

What programmes are you running when online, have you tried clearing your cache, have you cleaned your hard drive.

It could even be spyware try running as many anti spyware programmes you can.

Try this website. www.pcpitstop.com run that it’s free and it will tell you what is happening in your machine and give you guidelines on how to improve your performance. the PC that is not yours :unamused: :laughing:

It could be a number of things but is probably something at your end.

when viewing a post you have written?

If you are then the EDIT tab appears only on the posts you have made so you can ‘edit’ what you have written at a later date if need be. No one else sees the edit button, it appears only on your own posts so you can do the editing.
