I have just heard that the city fathers of Portsmouth are to impose a charge on vehicles in a new clean air zone.The map of the affected area looks vague but surely it wouldn’t include the route into the Ferry terminal from the M27,would it? Then again!

Yes.It seems that from 29/11 those using the IOW terminal at Gunwharf Quay will have to pay £10 a time if their car is not euro 6.The Continental Terminal is not affected.Personally I use Southampton for the IOW as family member has a frequent user discount.
