Don’t know wether this is setting a trend. but…
Polish agency driver arrived with a night trunk at one of our depots last week. depot manager decided that he was drunk (everybody thought so) and called police.
police were too BUSY to attend… at 2.00 am on a wednesday morning. ■■?
manager took keys and kept him there, leaving day manager to decide when he was sober enough to drive.

“A Lorryman”■■ :open_mouth:

verbally abusive in polish

Which raises the question as to who it was that identified that what he was saying in Polish was abusive?

:stuck_out_tongue:

I think that “[zb] police” is pretty universal :open_mouth:

Pole at work was telling me that one of his countrymen was in a boozer during the England v Croatia game, the place was packed out with England fans.
When the winning goal for Croatia went in,the spangle jumped to his feet cheering for Croatia. :imp: :imp: :imp:
Before he knew what was happening, some England fans had sparkled him all over the boozer.  :stuck_out_tongue:
