I’ve been told by a local business that we do regular drops too in Rouen that it’s due to open on 28th of August. Not sure how reliable that info is though.
I pass over it regularly when I take the short cut that comes out at Pont de L’Arche. It’s all painted up and ready to go as far as I can tell.
It was open on Friday 29/8 . But if your needing AS24 diesel they have closed the station on the right hand side N/B at Sotteville for refurb. nice timing.
There’s plenty of AS 24 in Rouen anyway!
It did open on 28th as suggested 
Now that I know the back doubles to the south and Evreux, bypassing the compulsary autroute, I won’t be using the bridge again.
Saves me a few Euros and I will still fill up at the supermarket with really cheap diesel in Pont de L’Arche. I’m in a van mind, so no weight limits.
I came north over the bridge on Tuesday. Filled up at the Esso station about 2 kilometres before the bridge at E1.25 a litre…bargain. You can see the new section close up as you drive up the ramp on to the bridge. If that whole section was lifted into place in one go that was a serious bit of engineering.
