The reason why we have to pay through the nose for energy is because it’s all traded on the international markets. And they sell the juice for a price that
makes nuclear energy seem profitable or at least break even, else if nuclear had to compete directly for price with wind and solar, we’d see just how expensive it really was. And that’s before the cost of the clear up afterwards and storing the waste somewhere
