is that your best shot? So Farage has hit out at the government’s handling of Brexit has he? Is this not the same thing that multititudes here have agreed and commented upon?
You’re obviously suffering from some kind of selective thinking so I’ll reiterate for you once more; the Brexit that the MAJORITY of the British population voted for hasn’t materialised simply because of a pro remain government who merely paid lip service to the whole gig. The reason they even paid lip service was because they were terrified of being turfed out by the electorate even earlier than they were. There was no commitment, no drive and no real will to follow the wishes of the voters.
17.5m of a population of about 65m is certainly not a majority.
Nor is it a MAJORITY of the population.
It is a majority of those who voted.
No.
Voting for a better everything, is not deliverable.
It doesn’t matter how committed the Gov were.
An impossible unachievable aim is just that. Impossible.
Oh, and remember who promised those impossible outcomes that so many voted for?
Politicians…the ones you say always lie…the ones who now say “If I was in charge I would have done better”
I too wished for a better outcome.
I am not the one who believed te promises made by politicians about how great Brexit would be.
I still say that Maradonna should not have been given that goal in World Cup 1986…it was a nailed on handball.
Bloody little cheat if VAR had been around we would have been through to next round.
And don’t even mention the 1999 FA cup final where we lost against Man U…
Bloody Scholes, not even sure if that Sheringham goal should have stood tbh.
I aint happy with either of those results, bloody travesty.
British tabloids have used the term “EUSSR” as a provocative label for the European Union, particularly during debates around Brexit. This term combines “EU” (European Union) with “USSR” (Union of Soviet Socialist Republics) to suggest that the EU operates like a centralized, bureaucratic regime reminiscent of the Soviet Union.
The use of “EUSSR” reflects a few key sentiments:
Sovereignty Concerns: Many critics of the EU argue that it undermines national sovereignty, likening its regulations and directives to the overreach of a totalitarian state.
Bureaucratic Nature: The EU’s complex bureaucracy and decision-making processes can be seen as opaque and overly controlling, which some tabloids highlight to create a negative perception.
Political Rhetoric: Tabloids often use sensational language to engage readers and provoke strong emotional reactions, making “EUSSR” an effective rhetorical device.
Overall, this labeling is part of a broader narrative that seeks to frame the EU in a negative light, especially during the contentious discussions surrounding the UK’s membership and eventual departure from the Union.
You knew exactly what he meant and the context of it (as we all did), but you being you feel the need to turn even the slightest little thing into an argument just for the sake of it. You remind me of my 2 kids in that respect … and they are 3 & 6.
The predominantly bias left wing media both here and in the States have really had their pants pulled down with this result. The last few weeks have all been that it’s neck and neck and you can’t call it. When in reality Trump was going to cruise this from the moment Harris was put forward as the Democrats candidate. Those organisations could not bring themselves to admit that though.
Political influences and differences and greed has being the same from day one.
Nothing has changed nothing is different except for more greed more imports more bigger pension for politicians doing a job for a short time then getting a pension that would take a normal person a lifetime to get
Your princess wake up is a bit late, its a class one society, look after your own and take from them below you, always has been like that, they just let you think you have a say, ie let him earn enough to live and we will control them and everything else
The world is changing there’s no such thing as im English forever or being a patriot, them days are way gone, and if you haven’t coped on to that just walking down a main street in uk then you have a sight problem (you need glasses)
Fact, forget about the wasters, they can absorb them
Fact, they need working people and will take them from anywhere
Fact, its progress, it’s a fact, if you’re not productive in productive life you get it somewhere else
Fact, the uk went to the dogs years ago, way before to what’s happening now,
Fact, the country has such a multi culture that it’s impossible to identify its origin, maybe not now but that’s the way it’s going (please quote me in 20 years to confirm) and isn’t that going to be hard to confirm
Fact, the uk was Europe before even Europe was invented, it took every thing and anyone it could and declared them English men
The basics of the story is progressing needs labour, but no country will tell it’s own citizens what its intensely needs
The moral of the story is in the not to distant future your identity is gone your loyalty to what you believe is no more, it will happen nothing surer
The people making decisions on your behalf will be from Africa or India or some other far fetched country but not a English man
If the truth be told which was never told the uk is a island in the middle of nowhere with no importance to anyone except it’s self
In truth it’s a breeding ground for people who don’t belong there
You have people here arguing about things they could never change in a lifetime and has been going on for a lifetime, wasters the whole lot of them
Didn’t mean to post this with so much detail
Not that it’s not true, just my thoughts
Re. US election result.
Been flicking through various radio stations this morning and the comedy entertainment has been off the scale.
Reminiscent of the Brexit result with all the bleating bed wetting lefties crying into their cornflakes…because of (their) unexpected result. …many of them Brits btw.
As usual, they listened to, and believed, the official narrative without question, ‘close poll , this, neck and neck that’, and are surprised when they see they were fed b/s.
Maybe if they sought their opinions by looking at contrasting sources, stopped relying on various official polls to form their opinions, and generally ‘looked around’ at the true picture.
Then the obligatory labels come out, racist this, mysogonist that…as in this country with the famous…‘Far right’.
They see it as ‘Hitlers second coming’
One American guy summed it up, he said
‘I looked at both party’s policies and discovered that one was more concerned with letting some weird guy go in a female changing room and toilet, than me getting a job and being able to live on my wage’…his words and opinions btw, not necessarilly mine .
Ie irrelevant woke lefty issues over real substance,.and out of touch with real people…a trait of the Left.
Maybe the Labour Party should take heed, after vilifying those that are meant to be their natural target audience, who are labelled racist because they dont agree with mass illegal immigration.
Never mind Franglais it gives you something else to bore the arses off us about,…for God knows how long, and at least it will give your Brexit petulance a well earned rest.
