Can’t belive I’ve been sucked in by all this polishiting.

Another waste of time ,got Burford quarry tomorrow .

I’ve been in there recently it’s not too bad. Have you got to go down to the lime mill or just inside the gate to the brick works?

I prefer peek over autosol.

I also spend days polishing tanks, the unit i drive and the trailer i drag along. Sometimes days at a time.

But its a part of my job, so i dont mind getting paid to polish tanks in nice places

What’s brought you all out of the woodwork again, is it the comedown from Truckfest or what. Calm down dears

Only issue is the jack boots of DVSA, who will view it as working when your on break or rest period

No they really don’t. :unamused:

Don’t dismiss the myth mate, I’ve heard that a driver got done for readjusting a single buckle while on break!

One of my colleagues got done, adjusted three buckles on his way back from the toilets, £10 per buckle fine… luckily he has his land g legs fully wound up.

 donkey you are a baaaaaaaad ■■■!

Has any one had any luck rigging a air polisher to the air of the unit to make it easy to get a good shine ■■

Yes, used a spare airline and fittings, plug it into the red airline up the revs a little, works fine. Did my tanks and the cab with it.

What fittings did you use ■■

Basically the one that goes into the red airline with a size reducing threaded coupling screwed into it so you can attach it to the airline then the other end was just a matter of finding couplings /reducers till you got to the right size for the polisher. I’ve done it so if I ever need a spare airline I can undo them and use it then replace it at a later date.

Been going down to the new crusher to get the 3 mm to dust stock from 40 to 60 tonnes an hour ,looks like today was the last load .

They should have a go at getting the dust out of the “clean stone” first. I delivered some 75-40 last week and I had to double check I’d not loaded capping.
