Polish Truck Driver Crying on BBC

big boots:
i wander if he was making a pan of chips ?

No. I guess, cooking potatoes. (Like mash).

toby1234abc:
Where is Angus Nairn when we need him.He is like a dog with a bone.
Once he gets his teeth in to something he will not let go.

Yep, he never lets go does he!

Angus is an ex owner driver.A Scania 142.One day may meet him on his patch.

Which effectively makes him the biggest traitor ever!

He knows all the tricks of the trade. If pulled over by Angus the driver will assume he is not from a haulage backround and try to pull the wool over his eyes.
That could give the driver a surprise. The foreign drivers try their luck but end up loosing.

bestbooties:
I sympathise with the guy.
Have you ever been given some grief by the old bill in a country where you don’t speak the language and you can’t do right for doing wrong?
Well I have! I agree.

Just a matter of’How much?’ Nothing to cry about!

The drivers stopped were complying with tach rules to stop there. There may have been a hold up on the way and ran out of time.
£30 fine is a lot of money in Turkey if he is on 700 to 1000 a month in Euros or whatever he gets in Lira.
With nowhere to stop in London, they could have been there. If they got fined abroad the fines are in the thousands for tacho infringements.
