POA after Break

Can you go from break straight into poa our do you have to show some other work first?

There’s nothing to stop you going straight from break to POA.

The thing to remember about the tachograph is honesty is the best policy. Why tell someone you worked if you didn’t?

Thanks,I just seemed to remember someone saying you couldn’t go straight from break to poa (our maybe it was other way around). Either way, it was probably one of the many “experts” at work or somewhere!

no booking poa on ur tacho can mess ur clock up ie 15 or 30 break then 30 poa will reset the DISPLAY on the vdu making you think you have a clean 4.5 drive… just be careful when using poa…

Thanks Nick,I am aware of the resetting of the tacho, I know it’s a pain, but the TM is insisting we use poa when we’re being loaded. Cheers

as long as your not doing anything when its being loaded crack on fella . our place don’t recognise poa but I still book it at times , mind I don’t get anywhere near the hours anymore

That’s why we book poa, keeps the weekly average down and doesn’t confuse payroll with extra breaks  oh, and wouldn’t dream of tipping on poa :open_mouth:

  we just get salary and payroll don’t have to worry about breaks etc… like I said I’m lucky if I do a 10hr shift every 5 weeks now normally a max 8 usually a 7.5 :sunglasses:
