Pidou transmarck

Whats pidou like now with regards to immigrants? Haven’t stopped there for a few years but the mrs wants to start getting wine stocked up for her birthday party.

Will just be going in and out 10/15 mins, not parking all night usually about midnight when i’m passing.
Is it safe enough to stop with a locked fridge lorry? Suppose its just axle huggers to worry about. Or any other 24 hour wine places in calais area?

might be better going to pidous in Calais next to garage feels a bit more secure there, plenty of room,

If you’re going past the place on your outbound, I would buy it then. That way if you do get an axle loving immi, he can fall off it somewhere on the route to your destination, not on your way home to England.

+1^^^^ get it on the way out.

Don’t go that way going out.

It’s getting bad around there at the moment.Saw about 15 of them hanging around the building site opposite this morning when I popped in.Was only in there 5 mins and when I was paying looked out the door and there were about 6 of them looking to get in the trailer.Think it might be a place to start avoiding soon.

I’m surprised that the owners of Pidou haven’t upped the security there, to ensure that their customers don’t get this sort of hassle. They must be losing loads of trade.

Think he might have to soon.As the lad behind the counter said the boss had a knife pulled on him the other day.

Think i’ll give it a miss then. Cheers for the advice.

It’s bad but nothing you can’t handle. During the day is ok’ish but there still there.

6 of them cut in through the roof last Tuesday and refused to get out of a Polish gentlemans euroliner. The gendarmerie took 3 hours to come out then done nothing.

Your own your own out there nobody gives a monkeys so I take the same approach.

Used to go in there regularly at night from the late 90s to the mid noughties.
Even back then, the grey haired chap with the gammy leg used to keep a silver revolver under the till.
The only unwanted passenger i picked up there, got dropped off en route up the northbound corridor towards Dunkirk,as we always did our shopping on the way out.

Might have to invest in some of that pepper spray they sell in there.

Would be better finding a supermarket away from the ports,
As supermarkets in France set there own prices I always found it cheaper

I had two numpties cut my roof sheet and climb in there a few months ago. (with a full load of soya for down towards paris)
They looked like custard when they sheepishly climbed out again after another driver told me he’d seen them get in…
I don’t use transmarck now it’s got very dodgy.

CS gas or pepper spray is sold legally in truckstops all over Europe.Only soft touch Nambie Mamby Uk it is illegal and classed as a gun in law with jail time if found.
I hide mine in my boxers in case the cab is searched.
If a female UKBA officer did a body search, she will think i am pleased to see her with something hard down under.

I used the new one at Dunkirke yesterday much more open so makes it harder for the buggers to get in.
