Got this a couple of months ago to replace my old FM.
Given the choice I think I’d prefer pushing the Volvo to driving this :grimacing:

Bum deal there buddy, are they cost cutting or has the dealer moved in the same yard

On paper I guess the MAN looks a good motor, just a shame we don’t drive on paper.

The MAN dealer is only invited to the yard when I’m out as I’ve threatened to punch him if I ever see him :grimacing:

Not bad considering im 18, generally a different unit everyday at the moment, had a few \8/s aswell!

Don`t you have to be 21 to get your Class one licence?

Normal position lol.

If you saw this around the A1(M) near Wakefield going super slow round the roundabouts then I’m sorry I’m still getting used to the manual gearbox.

What are they like to work for Radar? They’ve got a big depot up the road from my house but according to a couple of their ex drivers, terms and conditions etc have changed and a few are leaving.

I wouldn’t worry about going too slow around roundabouts, first priority is getting to the destination safely. Getting there on time is a bonus  looks a good motor  in two weeks ill be in an iveco will be looking forward to that

Hope your enjoying it mate

Cheers

It was my first time in a manual 4 over 4. I miss the old MAN auto I used at Co-op. That MAN has on the notchest gearbox I’ve ever used. Now I can see why people call them “Mean and Nasty”.

thought I’d add mine, my first ever hgv job since passing and I love my truck even though she is a old girl. Tried a daf for a week which was newer and I hated it

I run out of North Scarle. They seem like a good bunch. They all know each other though so us agency lot just get given the keys and thats pretty much it. The drivers are nice though. Helped me out a lot.

Nice basic motor with good ground clearance. Being old and an Iveco nobody cares if it’s dirty inside or out.

The full lock on it is amazing, for 13 year old she still pulls like she’s new. She’s in pretty good condition tbh, iv clean the inside up now since getting it.

Passed the test to drive these bad boys today, that’s two 53’ trailers, overall length 41m and 63500kgs GVW, should be fun in the snow and ice
