T730 anyone?
I take it this is built up using a new R series cab and T cab parts, looks like an engine hump in that cab to me.

£158000 at today’s exchange rate. Much as I like scanias I would rather have a 3 series and a lot of change left over instead
Has anyone any pictures of a conversion been done and the work entailed. Surely it must cost a fortune

Definetly, as I said they stopped making T-Cabs at Series 4, meaning the biggest would be a 580 standard.
I think they stopped selling them here in 05?, there was an 05 reg T500 petrol tanker knocking around for a bit. Did they stop production worldwide or just stop selling them in Europe?.
Always loved the 2/3 series Tcabs, took a long time for the 4series Tcabs to grow on me.

Not the best photo I’ve ever taken, but heres a photo of Charlie Lauders Scania T cab
Note that Charlie Lauder junior’s brother, Dave is in the picture (sorry if he’s a TNUK member)
Kindest regards

hi oh4goodnessake, i posted a pic earlier in this thread of a red t-cab which also belonged to graeme waugh .his was near the last one built
little ha ba:
i had the pleasure of driving this
Nice one:-)) Yesterday I was in Scunthorpe and we were passed by the Stan Robinson T Cab.The lesson was ending and I had 20 mins to track him down and get to my next pupil.I turned the next corner and found the Thackray Torpedo and went half a mile up the road and the WOS T Cab was sitting there having it’s trailer bashed with a big hammer. No sign of Stan though. That would have been a real hat-trick
Stan Robinson T cab was parked in the layby at the Barnetby top end of the A15 yesterday lunchtime.Probably Hull bound.
Just like tough guys
like to “be seen” with Staffordshire Bull Terriers , some hauliers
are now adopting the Scania T Cab as a " must have " attraction.
Pollocks is another transport company which now display a Scania T Cab , - this one at Truckfest Scotland.
Cheers , cattle wagon man.
Here’s a couple from my collection, Dave Atkinson’s old white one then his next T-cab taken at the Barnard Castle truck show and then on the A66 loaded with a Terex dumper don’t know if he still has this vehicle or not also Kevin Dixon T-cab recovery vehicle taken in the mid 90’s and lastly 1 of Allen Browns T-cabs taken in 2000 he had 2-3 at the time.regards prattman.
Thanks Gary ( prattman) , for the pics, and the kind comments.
I remember Dave Atkinson owning the T Cab. I last saw it at the Kirkby Stephen & Brough Easter Weekend Gathering a couple of years ago. I think it had a For Sale
notice in the cab .
The Scania was featured on “Police, Camera, Action,” (■■) when carrying a wide load on the Motorway.
The T Cab of Allen Brown`s used to be driven by a chap who lived in our village.
I took this photo of Kevin Dixons T Cab at the Retro Show , Gaydon , last month. Longthorne Bros were the earlier owners , then Corners ; before Kevin
s name that now is shown on the Longthorne Livery
.
Cheers , cattle wagon man.

Mr.Vain it is now owned by Wilson McCurdy JNR Haulage of Ballymena Northern Ireland. It went under a full refurb but the noticeable thing is the Duck on the bonnet is still on it to this day.
Saw this in Derby last year.
(Photo is already on the ‘Scania Beauties’ thread. Sorry for duplication).
