Anyone know who this belong too, it was once a 6x2 with Wayne Catt and Stennets i believe. Didnt think Coles had an 03 plate bonneted Scania so cant be them doing the coke run again, probably wrong though.
AFAIK it is Coles truck, has been the last 2 years anyway.
that is NOT a Coles truck, as that is NOT a genuine Topline, it is a Kuda conversion, all of Coles T Cabs are genuine Toplines
and who in their right mind would buy wheel trims like that has got on it. They genuinley make me laugh out loud when i see a motor with them on!

Your right on who’s it used to be sorry don’t know who has it now tho
What is the purpose of the T Cab? I don’t understand why Scanny are the only european manufacturer that appeared to have made em, and even they are starting to get old. Though I do see a nice one on heavy haulage every now and then at M1J9. Big yellow thing with about a billion drive axles.

I think it was purely a marketing thing really, they do look very smart and stand out a lot amongst the regular trucks. As for getting old, I don’t think they made them after the 4 Series, just some people have facelifted them using R-Cab parts.
To anyone thats driven one, do you get any more interior space as the engine has now moved from under the cab?

Ahhh, interesting. I would think that they would be weirder to drive than a Magnum to us euroboys wouldn’t it? Like driving a Bentley Mulsanne after learning in a Citroen C1!

When I was in Land Rovers (I owned a 110 Station Wagon) I once got a drive of a 101 Forward Control, they were the same shape as a lorry but 4x4 obviously…
For the first 30 minutes off road you were turning far too early due to being sat on the axle rarther than behind it, it was very easy to catch a corner as you’d tried to turn round an obsticle. I’d imagine driving a Torpedo cab would be the same but in reverse, and you have to really watch where the nose is while reversing, hence why a lot have those little sticks on the very front corners.
Tell me about it, not what I expected to see as I drove round the roundabout at 3am. I apologise if the driver was in it (Curtains were open so I don’t think so) but I had to stop for a pic or two!
