Hi all, bit of advice needed, got an iphone 5 and just noticed on my car charger that it does say “input 12v-24v” would you trust this and use it in the trucks 24v socket or am I safer to get a voltage dropper? Both my tomtom and my ecig charger has the same information on the charger and they have been ok, just worried because obviously its a bit more expensive bit of kit to fry!!!
Its not an official Apple one, its one I got from a motorway service station!

they have built in fuse or resisters
Ok, thanks. its only a tiny thing, not the usual massive ones that stick out from the socket 4/5 inches
It will probably have a glass fuse in it. I can’t imagine they’d risk not fusing it
