I’ve just found out what the cause of last nights ■■■■■■■■ earthquake was!!! Chris Webb visited the "hole inth’t wall"to get his holiday money out for his up-coming Christmas visit overseas. All was going well, and he had got it loaded and strapped down------then he dropped his “wallet” what a bleedin’ noise!!! it knocked me clean out of my chair it did!!! I’ve just seen the convoy of heavy lift cranes making their way to Heysham Ferry, its going to be a hell of a lift, and that big Russian cargo plane is due to-morrow to take Mr.&Mrs. Webb to Scotland!!!Cheers Dennis.

i’m glad you explained the earthquake dennis , my heart skipped a beat this morning when i read about it , i thought " has dave put THAT photo on while i wasn’t looking " , but all is well for now . cheers , dave

Hi John.I’m not sure about the Hargreaves connection but Cawoods ran AEC MK5s on fuel oil in the 60s and I inherited one secondhand at A.E.Evans - 526 GYG.It was a real flying machine.

Anyone remember this company & where were they based.

They were from Sheffield John and ran a lot of AECs and Albions. They would give Slater and Mullan a run for their money.I think they disappeared into the British Fuel Company or something like that.

And they ran tankers on black oil…

Chris

Hi Chris Thanks for that.I could remember the name but didn’t know where abouts they were from.
