I normally try and squeeze on the Broxden Services just off the A9 when in Perth or on one of the Industrial Estates. I was told there used to be a Truckstop in the town but that is now a Supermarket ?
Is there another Truckstop or is it just the council have not yet removed the lorry parking signs ?
I was on my way through Perth after tipping at the airport and there is a sign for parking, does this sign lead to the old truckstop or is there lorry parking in Perth ?

There used to be a lorry park on Perth Docks, well a small wharf really on Friarton Road
generally youll find this car park wit trucks in at night, but tbh its a pain in the backside if your over 14ft tall as there is only one way in if you are.

that sign takes you to the link i posted but there is a 14ft bridge that way,
if your over 14ft there is only one way to that parking area.
you have to go back down the m90 towards the bridge of earn then turn back on yourself into the town centre, follow the road past tescos, over the railway bridge to the last set of lights before the centre and you should have the parking area on your right, then its right at the lights then right again
Aye,it says no lorries on the entrance but I’ve parked there ever since the lorry park by the park closed & never had any trouble. handy for town centre bars & eateries too!
Perths not that great for parking but that car park is fine as long as your out early enough
I’ve just read a Local Council piece about parking around Perth and it says the Services (Broxden) off the A9 which has a dozen spaces was only granted planning permission on the basis it didn’t allow overnight HGV parking !
That’s broxden you on about at the esso garage. Hard to get a space during the week after say 4/5pm most folk tend to park at inveralmond ind estate

yes there was a sign saying that but it has now dissapeared but there is only 5 hgv parking bays which are usally full early.
just too add the cafe at the docks is now closed and think the parking is going too
