Anybody know any suitable overnight parking locations in Penzance?

You used to be able to park in the car park on the harbourside in Penzance although the boy racers used to frequent the car park at weekends.
Opposite Morrisons is an Ind Est…Quiet as you like, with the supermarket and a short walk into town. Ideal! 
Yes you can park in the harbour car park but only after 18.00hrs. Couple of other options, carry on over the bridge at the harbour and along the seafront towards Newlyn. There is a car park opposite the Lidl and Coop store, no problem to park there. Other options are as you approach Penzance you will see the the signs for Marazion station, follow that and it will take you down to the seafront, great big car park overlooking St Micheals Mount. Or, as you hit the first roundabout approaching Penzance take the first out and follow Helston. About 2 miles up there is a big layby, nice quiet spot.
The harbour was always the best place and handy for the pubs.

just watch out, if the sea is rough you will spend the morning cleaning seaweed and sand off your truck,if it’s really rough watch out for the brick sized stones that can be washed over the wall. if you do park here get over by the grass if you can.
i can recommend Drecklys Steak House, opposite the far end of the car park by the bus and train stations, Rachel does a wonderful steak.
