Rick
There are several companies that will do this for you, but they are not free. You should try the free Government site first: gov.uk/find-pension-contact-details

Depends on the size of the agency and how they employed their staff as to whether they had to give one prior to 2017 when all employers did. It all depends on how many employees the agency had. Any agency drivers who were Ltd didn’t count as an employee.
In 2012 large employers who employed more than 250 employees were required to automatically enrol all eligible employees. In 2014 medium employers who employed more than 50 employees were required to comply, followed by all employers in 2016.
If you have worked for 2 agency’s for 10 years I’d imagine you would have been paying into the government pension scheme unless you opted out.
have seen it deducted on your payslips.?. And had a letter / email with the policy details etc
