I was sure the other day I got a good quote for Car insurance but by time I went to save the quote to buy at a later date the comp had crashed… So over the last few days I have been trying to get quotes online from same company but @ £50/£60 more for the year? Surely I thought within a day or 2 they cant hike the prices up that much? ANyways I got home literally 30mins ago and remembered my car insurance is up on Friday & MUST get something sorted out by then and with me going away tonight and not home until Friday that I had to do it NOW… Anyways with it being 05.15am and what youd call and OFF PEAK time I put in all details the sameand my cheap quote came back up and when I come to think of it when I washome the other day and getting dearer quotes it was through the day! Surely these lovely people to people caring Insurance people wouldnt be charging more for insurance quotes through the day because more NORMAL people are up through the day thus they can earn more? Anyways got my cheap quote back and saved £60…
i got told that the website saves the cookies and when you go back on the site later on the computor then ups the price
dont use places like compare ect as they add on a fee to the price you are better looking on them sites then ringing up for a quote but dont put you phone number as you will still be getting callls 6 months later
