Paul mathew

What are paul mathew like pay and stuff

?

Wouldn’t have a clue on pay but being mainly theartre work on there you can kiss goodbye to being home at weekends!

They like to dump trailers in busy laybys.

Saw an ad a while ago was an odd working week weds to Monday or something like. mostly loading nite so sleeping days

Never done anything for Mathews before but have done theartre work. They will put say 3 units on the job with anything upto 20 odd trailers. One boy pulls em in & loads em he others start ferrying them half way up the road taking over like you said any layby they can find! then 3 other units start ferrying the trailers to the next gig. It’s not like R & R though you normally get 3 or 4 days to complete this not overnight!

i heard the pay is crap, and he has been advertising a long time,so i reckon that says it all

Crexit to one driver yesterday on the Aston Clinton bypass; Layby was full and I was short on driving time so ■■■■ it I blocked in the unattended trailer. Sods law he turned up to collect it 5 minutes from the end of my break. He managed to pick it up but judging from the banging I don’t think he was too happy. :smiling_imp:

Mostly weekend work, but money is ok. Just to put point correct though, other than the notice on their trailers they have never placed ads for drivers.
Fair bit of work across the water too at times.

Didn’t you get out and tell him you would only be 5 mins? or watch him under at an awkward angle.

Funny how you were on here a couple of weeks ago whining about being blocked in, despite the other driver
doing nothing wrong.

Am I obliged to inform people how long I’m having for my break now?

To be fair muckaway was not the one in the wrong.so every trailer dumped should be left room for the driver to get it later even if it means you run over, nope not gonna happen

Or the other driver could have asked him how long he was going to be or for help guiding him under. It works both ways.

Hi if you want to know what it’s really like to work for paul mathew and the pay then send me a pm and I’ll let you know

He was on break. There is no way he could interrupt his rest to " watch him under at an awkward angle"
That would be classed as “other work”
