Have a good one yourself Dean,
The Jensen motor facility in Lenches Bridge was used to build the Jen Tugs as far as I know, the cars all made at West Bromwich.
That Jensen light commercial. Was it licence-built, based on the FWD tubular chassised Mercedes perchance? I will Go to Google. I do not recall ever seeing on though, so I guess it was perhaps a touch too radical!
PS Apparently not. Introduced in 1958 and licenced from a company in Hamburg. No mention of Mercedes at all. But it really does look as if it might be.

Got recollections of posting a photo of the Jenson Tempo light commercial on Past and Present some time ago, anyway had a google and it would appear that Tempo was a German firm with which Jensen had at one time a licence to produce the Jensen Tempo jensencars.be/broch%20tempo.html Tempo were later acquired by Mercedes.

Always thought those Pegaso’s looked and sounded great Dean, still see them from time to time in Spain earning their keep, although those are the more “modern” versions

Afraid so Dean, but then I suppose that they have to built plenty of them to replace the worn out/rotted away ones? I haven’t seen any 32 year old Scanias or Volvos still earning money for their owners around here, although my freezer is Swedish so it may well have some recycled ten year old Volvo parts in it somewhere?
Pete.
