Well spotted Bubbs !
Cant say i remember that motor. Is it Churchills on the door. I see they were from Wareham.

Clive Watson transport was from Rugeley Staffs, they took over by Renwicks freight, the yellow firm with a pic of a beaver on cab, that didn’t last too long. Watsons transport manager now works for Stan Robinson at the Stafford HQ, Cheer’s Pete
I thought you would know something about Watson Transport Pete !
Thanks for the other comments as well.

“coomsey”
Interesting stuff Dean ,advertisers must be the biggest bullers in the world ! I wonder what an original suitcase would be worth?
Did you ever see a suitcase Paul, we had a fleet of them but I never saw any cases? The distance lads would have found them handy. Maybe they ‘fell out of the cabs’ at North Riding Garages who supplied them?
Edited to say that I see the advert is from 1968, we didn’t have any until 1971/72 so maybe they had been discontinued by that time? We did have a large collection of starting handles though!
Pete.
Pete, rumour has it that was infact “coomsey’s” lunch box !!!

“DEANB”
J.Thorpe Transcon. Anyone recognise the canal and where were Thorpe’s from ■■
The canal is the Trent and Mersey just above the last(or first)Middlewich lock, the gates on that lock were very stiff, rarely the landlord of the adjacent pub used to come out to assist in the closing of the gates!
David
Thanks for the comments David.
