DEANB:
Good stuff Paul ! Some nice pics there. Looking at them with such a big windscreen i wonder if they
suffered more than most trucks from windscreen failiures, cracking, stone chips etc â â ?
Funnily enough, I once bought the cab from an ex-Pickfordâs machine, available because it had suffered a smashed screen and its owner was unable to source a replacement - I didnât like to mention that I had a brand new one stored safely in my dadâs garage
They resorted to fitting a Mk.2 cab, but that wasnât straightforward because the front axle position was different, as you can see here:
And in original form:
Intresting Chris, cant say i am surprised and i bet the windscreens were expensive ! That was handy having
a replacement !!!
Taylors Draycott Crusader, looks like a couple of BRS ERFâs on trailer.
Leyland. Roadtrain ? I assume its a roadtrain but the cab look a bit low to me. Trying to remember i
think they made one a bit smaller,was it a freighter â â ?

The original low-datum day cab Roadtrain.
The lighter tractor was a Cruiser, with the narrower cab, a plain front panel and single headlights
DEANB:
S.W.Transport Seddon, not too impressed with that load of wood either.

Tsk. Atkinson âSilver Knightâ Mk.2
