Thats a lot more interesting then another site of the same name I found, I may even join and pledge my life to the cause and all the brave souls who sail in her, god bless them all.

Do you mean this site

Sorry but the link goes as agreed by the management of BOTH sites. K

Gurner:

Links removed. K

No I found the one Coffeholic found more interesting, thanks anyway gurner I am sure someone may find it of interest

Your welcome

Sorry, but the banner has to go. By agreement of ther management of BOTH sites. K

I just checked in with PDA after a conversation with two other members and found it boring, I think I’ll stick with good old trucknet uk

errrrrrrrrrr hornest nest me thinks
chris

Well I can certainly say it’s a sad day when it resorts to trying to belittle the officials of the PDA along with their site

Remember one thing here, they are trying to improve the conditions for you the Driver, I’ve always said that both TNet and the PDA should be working in harmony together, I’ve had my disagreements with both sites, but I certainly would not resort to trying to publicly humiliate anyone for standing up for what they believe in, unity and promoting the transport industry.

Sorry but I’m going to say it…

Shame on you all who find the need to try and belittle anyone

Yes there are times we joke on and have fun with members such as RobK

But at least RobK knows he can come in here and ask for genuine help and it will be there as soon as possible from the same people who wind him up, unfortunately the same cannot be said for the PDA

unfortunately the same cannot be said for the PDA

Unfortunatly Davey, you are right :frowning:

We have tried to help and accomodate them since their creation on this site…

We have tried to draw up various guidelines to help both sites over the yaers… and every time they have been breached
Despite my best efforts it always ends in tears,So the decision was made to allow them to conduct their business on their site, and ensure it doesnt “Spill” over onto this one.

Unfortunatly they are still unwilling to comply with this simple request…

I agree that this thread should not have been allowed to stay… however a PDA trustee requested.. NO… DEMANDED that it be allowed, …

It seems I cannot do right what however I try

Davey Driver:

In my experiance, no improvement has or will ever happen because, I am very sorry to say this they not interested in what the real driver wants, or his/her opinion!
IMHO the PDA is Pats[ Edited for personal attack ]

Last request before this thread gets moved!!!.. Can we STOP discussing the PDA and how it conducts itself and its business on THIS site
Please utalise the PDA’s own forums for this sort of discussion… we dont want it here
Rikki

Sorry Rikki!
They banned me for my opinion!
And I was daft enough to pay the Fee!
so therefor I cannot go to pats website to disagree!
sounds daft but its true!

:unamused: I still think the site Coffeholic found was very interesting

From reading this thread, it seems that personal conflict is dictating the way these forums are run. These are both transport industry sites, designed to give information and support to those in the transport industry. The personal history between the site owners, moderators, developers… whatever… shouldn’t even be discussed here. It’s between them and is irrelevent to the nature of the site. It seems like people are being forced to display some sort of loyalty to one or the other and that just isn’t necessary. But at the same time, to completely ban certain topics of conversation because of these personal conflicts (that most of us aren’t aware of anyway) is wrong. It’s like being a child of divorce all over again… don’t talk about dad when you’re with mom, don’t talk about mom when your with dad… geeeesh… I’ll just stay in my room and not talk to anybody… If you aren’t careful, the members may just start doing that. Then nobody wins…

Debatable!! :open_mouth:

Truth must be is that Websites cost money! to keep this site free, Rikki has to spend a long time looking for paying advertisers. these paying advertisers would take a dim view of others been able to advertise free here!

hense the rule NO advertising!
that includes all commercial web sites!

make sense to me!

Only really debatable from your point of view Critic. I personally agree with Kate.
There are elements on both sites who seem to want to take any issue and turn it into a slanging match over the virtues of the sites. I won’t name names, as I think we all know who is involved on both sides.

BOTH sites are trying to improve our lot as drivers, in their own ways, and it’s just the childishness of some people that is driving each their seperate ways.

If you can’t say something constructive, then just clam up. I know as drivers we like to whinge about stuff, but there is a line between whinging and outright personal attacks, and there has been too much of the latter lately.

I would personally prefer to see the nay sayers on both sides just grow up and act like adults. And I mean act like it, even if you’re not capable of the real thing.

Note: There are deliberately no names mentioned in this post save my disputing of Critc’s word early on. This is not a personal attack on anyone in particular, it’s an attack on the idiots of this world.

Yes Alikat, my point of view! “a driver” thats the point isnt it?

I’m a driver too, does this make either point of view invalid?

Who knows■■?

but then me or you arn’t pretending to be acting on behalf of us!!
