thats the one i seen, i assumed by the chat she was a 1 truck woman
im not one for massive bull bars but this lorry is one of the best ive seen in person!
Pat does not drive herself, as far as i know, she never has
Spotted one of the Volvos today pulling a Craib trailer on the A19 in Newcastle , poor photo , just caught it in my mirror whilst at the lights
She only has the one now young trucker…
hi does anyone on here know where pat is based now ?

She only has the one now young trucker…
last i heard, she still had 2 volvo’s and a daf
FH16 610, blue with bull bars and artwork
FH13 480 anniversary edition
(both pictured in this thread)
and a plain white DAF XF105 SSC
she has moved up to Scotland last year and the trucks/office are based up there, although, a few weeks ago, one of the drivers (in the FH16) parked up in her old yard at Nailstone for the night, and he is from the Mansfield area, so, the trucks could be ‘outbased’ but run from Scotland
has anyone got a pic of the daf i’ve only ever seen the volvos

the last time i saw it, it was just a plain white DAF XF105 Superspace cab with the 460 engine on a 10 plate, nothing special about it at all, no livery on it either
nailstone was where she was based leics

Pat Pallett used to have some very tidy F cab globetrotters on traction work out of the south coast ports around 15 years ago but I can’t remember who’s trailers they were pulling. Some of the trucks used to be signed up J.D. Pallett but they all had Bakewell Haulage in small letters on the back of the cab in a similar way to stobarts.
Anybody got any photos of these older motors?.
Cheers
Neilf

steve may of had it but it never had a sis motor i only remember steve havin a eight legger fl 10
I’ll soon clear this one up, right up till i owned J 477 LUT Pat owned it from new it was standard Volvo white
I bought it off Pat ran it for a while until Volvo at Stoney Stanton smashed it up.
It was repaired by Pickerings at Thurmaston and when it came out we had it painted B.M.W. Chamiox and kept the chassis
the black it was as painted by B.P.Rolls. It was only sold due to reg’s in Europe it was a great truck and served us very well.
PS Shuttle and Breedy… I do go on here sometimes lol
gunnerheskey:
J D Pallet, might have been a reference to her dad who originally ran it as J W Pallet. used to be green guy 8 legger tippers. Then they had Guy artics and they were white, light blue roofs, red chassis, black writing, after the Guys they had F7s, and they had a few F10s & FL10s in yellow on the Hepworth contract. Then when Pat took over she started with the Globetrotters on traction.
That’s me driving my old Volvo in the last picture and the other 2 pictures are of the lorry that I used to drive for Pat before I drove the F12.
Get on with the big diary then pal
Breedy.
