Spotted Pat Pallett at Ballinluig services a few times, but think it was a different Volvo to the one pictured
that one just doesnt look right, may i be right in thinking there is a Pat Pallett silver Volvo with wolf, or tiger eyes on the front dash too? I might be getting mixed up with a few different lorries though. Certainly noticed the name and motor though
same woman that owns them, the one pictured is a 480 anniversary edition, the one with the artwork is an FH16 610 with wolves on it, big stainless bullbar and light bars
and the one pictured at shepton mallet, i think it would be more than ‘a few’ years ago
Hi, I noticed the pics sand saw the copyright logo and was wondering if you have the web address that you got the pics off as the man who took the photos had a really good site but the company he posted them on (Fotopic) went bust and I cannot find him anymore? much appreciated

This one looks very much like an old thorburn motor…
Knew there was a Leicestershire connection somewhere but thought she’d packed up rather than moved…

The photos were taken by myself & it was me who had the website on fotopic!
I am currently looking at alternatives to fotopic, so hopefully should have some pictures back on the web shortly

Send a PM to moomooland or Stanfield as they were both hosting on there I believe. Northwest Trucks is back on the web. We cannot afford to lose one photograph of our heritage and history.
Pat Pallett used to have some very tidy F cab globetrotters on traction work out of the south coast ports around 15 years ago but I can’t remember who’s trailers they were pulling.
Some of the trucks used to be signed up J.D. Pallett but they all had Bakewell Haulage in small letters on the back of the cab in a similar way to stobarts.

Anybody got any photos of these older motors?.
Cheers

I’m sure they pulled TOE trailers out of Newhaven…
J D Pallet, might have been a reference to her dad who originally ran it as J W Pallet. used to be green guy 8 legger tippers. Then they had Guy artics and they were white, light blue roofs, red chassis, black writing, after the Guys they had F7s, and they had a few F10s & FL10s in yellow on the Hepworth contract. Then when Pat took over she started with the Globetrotters on traction.
Gunnerheskey, the last picture of the F12 Globetrotter has been recently owned/run by Adrian Gray (member on here) and used to drive it all over europe, until the emissions in Germany stopped him, he sold it back to Pat and now runs a MAN TG-A XXL
