The more I visit this setup the less interested I am getting with most of the old regulars missing and probably for good, there was a good mix among the older hands, good rapport, good repartee can’t see that coming back. Give it a month or two then perhaps to pastures new.

It,s probably just taking ‘the old hands’ like myself a bit longer to work out how to get back on to the site :upside_down_face: :unamused:  :face_with_raised_eyebrow: and any other emoji you think might fit :grinning:

Luuurrrrvve this Vitesse by the way.

Logging wagons.

Agree 100%, It’s too complicated, the old site was easy to navigate, this new site not so, it’s disaster. In the past we had a fair number of older fellas who enjoyed the photos, enjoyed the craic, enjoyed our retirement and visiting the site most days…all that has gone, sadly.
One thing I’ve noticed, I can’t see that anybody has posted a good word about this new site, the owners of the site should take notice and view the negative comments as constructive criticism.

Bit of farming, a self propelled baler.

Hi Oily do you know anything about this company and its downfall, cheers Buzzer

It’s also a MK2 Vittesse no less.Drop a 2.5 engine in it or at least triple Webers on the 2 litre motor job done.

No info Buzzer other than the wagons I’ve seen always tidy.

But the question is Oily, where are those pastures new? I’ve been casting about all over the place and am now signed up to a quiet Australian site and a noisy Canadian one.

BTW @franglais , what was edited out of your post, was it profane or just politically incorrect?

Some words get through now that didn`t before, but ■■■■■■■■■■■■ does not. Although parking… spot…does. Try it!
Arse is ok but ■■■ the correct name for a donkey does not.
Not an issue really, just a curiosity.

Oh dear, the American thing then. We’ll have to stick to strictly English in future.
It always amuses friends of mine that lorry drivers must be so prudish about some words whereas on my English language French forum which is for people from all walks of life, amost anything goes, and nobody takes advantage of it, if it is in context, it stays.

I am always amused by those who call themselves neo-cons.

Indeed. Strange though because this revamped site seems to be based on the same one that we have in our French one, just a tad less liberal. ■■■■ bugger ■■■■■■■■

I was watching a Netflix film with Robert Redford and Jane Fonda in it the other day. It is called ‘Our Souls at Night’. Very good it is too but I read that British based Netflix people had advised them to change the title for the British market but, as they (Americans) could see nothing wrong with it, the advice was ignored. :joy:

Having a scout round spardo with no success to date and isn’t hindsight so telling with regard to our old Trucknet base, the old adage " be careful what you wish for" comes to mind.

The recent events here have emphasised the advice to make sure you have separate email contacts with any special friends you have because if left to a forum they could disappear overnight.

Interesting shot this which is not mine, what motor is it plying Liverpool roads, Buzzer
