That’s a cracker Larry.
I’ll bet that bird in the hat was a hot un in her younger days, a man could get a tingling in his loins on a night out with her.
A nice line up of Premier’s Austin prime mover and BMC rigids there, reminds me of my BMC apprentice days in the sixties. Was it really all those years ago, I must be getting old?
Pete.
In that last picture, the bloke on the right hand end reminds me of Rodney Bewes from The Likely Lads.
While I’m at it, thanks to all for all the photos, they’re a cracking watch, and certainly bring back some memories. I wish I’d thought to take some pic’s back in the day.

When you look at that shot most of the men are in flaired trousers a giveaway of the age the picture was taken, Buzzer.

For those of us who sometimes think we have been hard done by, see what Dad and Grandpa had to deal with. A tiny sweep of clear screen, only on the drivers side, one tiny mirror and that probably only visible through the quarter light, therefore probably invisible in mucky weather. And the headlights, a bit different from today’s searchlight bling. And no power steering, possibly requiring getting to your frozen feet in a tight slow turn to get enough purchase on the wheel with a blip on the throttle.
Chapeau ( Hat’s off )
