Yes m8 me too thanks .

This is my Mercedes Benz Sprinter van, delivering “Counter Terrorism” equipment to
British Transport Police at Tavistock Place in London,in 2005. A few weeks later,
just to the left of the picture is Tavistock Square, where the London Transport
double deck bus was blown up. The Police Officer in the picture is PC Neville Lazonby,
He was arriving for work when the bus was bombed. He,and others remained on duty
up to about 36 hours, working in shifts to help the injured. He received a commendation
for his efforts. Well done Neville.

Ray Smyth.

Always fancied a twin steer Roadtrain with Big Cam ■■■■■■■■ Never got one so I guess it’s another to add to my bucket list! :unamused:

From your previous posts Lawrence, the Roadtrains gave you good service?

John

Nowt wrong with sticking your arm out of the window with the trusty fairy liquid bottle . Used to use them on the inside when the windows steamed up and the demister vents couldn’t clear it before dinner . I’m talking foden/ gardner combination of course .

hi R just commented to you on n,other un.
What bout Foden air driven wipers you,d switch em on and they,d start working just after it stopped raining, then you,d turn em off n they kept going for long enough to set your teeth on edge louder than ■■■■■■■■■■■■■■■ engine

Oiltreader, great photo of both bridges there. Always found the rail bridge a little scary whilst crossing.
Do you have any photo’s of the Tay Bridge or any Dundee based motors past or present.
