Avon Tyres, was that in Bradford on Avon heading into the town from the north? I have seventies memories of it being a right awkward spot to get into with an artic, on the left just before the bridge. Or am I missing up my memories? Regards Kev.

Avon tyres were in Melksham. I think you might be thinking of Nestle who were/are at BOA

Chaps the two Avon lorries belonged to Spiers of Melksham and were on contract to Avon tyre’s, Buzzer

A bit of early Australian road grading machinery, not sure if the Fordson was man enough to pull it though may have been a crawler of some sort, Buzzer
