Well Ive had this MG For over 20 years, Sadly I never new who the supplier was, Its a Reading reg, Larry
I worked for the MG dealer in Reading (Morris Garages ltd, formerly Hewens Garage) on Castle Street which is why I thought it may have been supplied by them. A pic of the showroom in slightly earlier times!

On the A9 at Bruar Perthshire.
Thanks Buzzer, that takes me back. My dear old uncle bought a brand new petrol FG in 1968 for his Green Grocery round, replacing a 1948 bonneted Commer. I drove in 1981 clearing up after my 21st birthday party. Uncle said “you drive”. So off I went duly to change from 1st to 2nd with an almighty crunch. Stopped in the road to start again and a repeat. Dear old Uncle smiling away, “you need to be able to drive properly boy”
I had driven a D series and a Mastiff (on the farm)all with syncromesh gearboxes. The FG was a quirky little truck but it served my Uncle well.

You got it on a good day Larry, no sheep. And better still, no sheep excrement on the floor.
Excrement…we know big words oop ere in t’north.
A DAF bread van of Warburtons bakery, parked behind the little Tesco
at Pemberton, the driver and his mate were in the cab, enjoying their
tea and toast, perhaps the second man was learning the delivery route.
