Hey Oily
This is not Dutch but French in my opinion.
The reg on the unit is too long for Holland and ends with 75 wich is Paris region
On the train it says SNCF wich stands for the French railroad.
Maybe Michel can explain further, because with the little kangaroo on the door and all dignataries around it, this may have been the start of the kangaroo system in France…

Hey Oily,
Thanks, that explaines a lot, is there a date mentioned somewhere, as it must be in the early days of the kangourou system ?

My Dutch is very rusty but it roughly translates as: unloading a French lorry with trailer on the premises of the Dutch auction docks at Utrecht (presumably canalside docks then) for a demonstration of the Kangaroo system. Hope that helps. Ro

Sorry Buzzer you may have to transfer the peanuts over to SDU and MRM in Queensland as we don’t have them in West OZ.

All hand stacked too, glad I don’t have to tarp it!
The peanut centres here, are Tolga on the Atherton Tableland and Kingaroy in the Burnett Region.

NMP. First truck I drove over here was one like this. White Freightliner cabover with a 2-stroke V8 Detroit diesel and 13 speed gearbox. The 2-stroke took some getting used to after the Gardners.
