Spardo:
Also I noticed something strange, at least 2 of the cars, one a Cambridge, seemed to have windscreen wipers set up for left hand drive as well.
I think it’s just the position the wipers are parked in, Spardo. If you look closely, they are pivotted centrally so the sweeps should be equal; unlike the A40 next to it, which has offset pivot positions.
I take your point but I still find it strange that a possibly irritating curve in the swept area should be only just outside the eyeline of the driver’s right eye, and also that it should park in clear view at the bottom. Anyway you have set me off now, I shall be paying special attention to all the wipers I see around here, although not so many right hookers these days.
In the case of centrally mounted wiper spindles it makes no difference which side the wipers park the swept ark is the same.
Ironically check out photos of LHD v RHD Jags and Triumphs you’ll see the wipers are parked on their respective drivers’s sides.
The unswept arcs weren’t/aren’t that noticeable. Its mainly traffic lights being looked at in the high corners and they show through the wet unswept screen.
While these days it’s the thick slanted screen pillars/A posts which totally remove vision regarding anything away from straight ahead not just the high side vision. The series 2 Zafira was lethal at pedestrian crossings in that regard.
Spardo:
That Bulmer’s load looks as if it is secured to ringbolts in the deck. If so, then maybe an example of Australian dollies?
As regards the Scania cabriolet, perhaps somebody pressed the button on the rocket by mistake?
Yes, I know it’s not a rocket, obviously a spaceship.
Whilst we’re on the subject of securing loads
Quite amazing! What model of van is he riding on? Can our on-line sleuths solve that question?
Ford Pilot V8 4 door with the help of Google.

Well done. Good choice of car by Tony Benn.

A further Google and Benn did it again on top of a mk 2 ■■■■■■ estate in the 70s. Perhaps he should have used a BL product considering the tax payers money pumped into that company!
