Dan one of your relations got this up for sale, it is being replaced by new, Buzzer.
It is John it’s a very good crane he had it new in 2013 been no trouble ,the new replacement is very nice with new SDC trailer too,about £166000 without the trailer that old Daf was ex Mediterranean shipping co .
I reckon that F7 with Sturge Chemicals on belonged to Haywoods from Telford may be the driver was called John who could of been married to Sue on the weight bridge at Sturge ? May be pyewacket John can confirm this ?

I well remember Haywards Dan but i am thinking Sue on the weighbridge must have been after i had departed.
The only weighbridge i ever used at Sturge was at the far end of the site, down the winding lane past the lake.
Chap named Bill Johnson was weighbridge and gate house keeper, always immaculate in his uniform and peaked
cap and his neatly trimmed tash,., I finished there about 1974 and a visit some time later showed that end of the
site was semi derelict. I assume that Sue must have been at the Lifford Lane end of the site…
I remember Dougie tipping on the bottom field, he may remember old Bill.
