Part time hours with other work scenario

Hi,

I am a newbie and trying to get my head around the drivers hours and as a new drive, I expect to transition from temporary work and working for agencies.

As I understand it, if I am working a 35 hour monday to friday job, then my driving will be restricted to one day every other weekend.

If however, I drop my other work to a 22.5 hour monday to wednesday, am I right in thinking that I could work the following pattern:

Week One: MonTuesWeds non driving work=22.5 hours Thursday day off work FriSatSun 29(9/9/9) hours driving/34.5 hours total working = 57 total hours

Week Two: MonTuesWeds non driving work=22.5 hours ThursFri days off work SatSun 29(9/9) hours driving/21 hours total working = 43.5 total hours

Week Three: MonTuesWeds non driving work=22.5 hours ThursFri days off work SatSun 29(9/9) hours driving/21 hours total working = 43.5 total hours

Repeat week one/two three etc…

Any comments or advice would be appreciated.

Assuming your usual job is not for a transport company and you work three consecutive days a week, you could legally do a driving job for at-least two consecutive days each week.

Depending on the times/hours driving you could probably drive three days every second week.
