YA BEAUTY!!
just goes to show its worth fighting the system
well done I.B.
Things like this really cheer you up well done mate! I had a phone call last week of the water comany telling me they owed me £50 and would a cheque be ok?
Doesn’t something like that just make your day
Well done
I have successfully challenged parking fines with several local authorities over the years. I believe that when they get a reasonable challenge they give in because it’s cheaper than fighting it out in court.
The important thing is to make a reasonable case why you were there. A letter saying “Youse are all [zb]wits and the Warden is a [zb]head so you can stuff your ticket where the sun don’t shine” has a low probability of success.
But it feels a lot better.
there was a program about the traffic wardens in london a year or 2 back, i’m sure something like 1 in 3 contested tickets were revoked, whatever it was it was high anyway!
i once got booked fully legally unloading in a loading bay at the back of a shop on stoke newington high street. when i pointed this out she just showed me how to contest it, which i presume the gaffer did. they recruit idiots - fact!

They were talking about appealing parking tickets on BBC news the other morning. Over 90% of appeals are granted If you’ve got any reason to appeal, DO
I’ve done so myself a few times and always got off. Stupidist one I had was when I filled in a parking permit with a blue pen only to get a ticket because you have to use black
