Try the carpark on Market Road its the old Cattle market, now all car park,don’t know if they allow lorry parking but its clsoe to town centre with plenty of pubs to choose from.
Its been a little while since I stopped down there but you used to be able to park just off the A286. Turn left off the Tescos roundabout when heading eastbound on the A27 and carry on into Chichester over another roundabout and there was a coach and lorry park on the RHS just a stones throw from the town. Like I said, not sure if its still there but worth a look.

jdc is right, can park there, its free but they have plans to start charging, across the road u can get a shower at the leisure centre, also a wetherspoons nearby at the cinema, was there few weeks back with no problems.
