Does anyone know anywhere close to the M62 around Leeds to park tonight? I’m going to be heading west and will be running out of time around that area but need to get as close as possible. Not Hartshead Moor services.

If you’re not fussy there’s plenty of industrial estates around Leeds. Near Arla there’s a nice quiet one, no one bothers you there

You are right they should pay for parking, although the last company I worked for (tramping) paid for parking but most of the time I chose not to use MSAs or truckstops because most are noisy and the food at MSAs is terrible anyway. We rarely have nights out at this company and never carry high value goods (not even got a trailer tonight) so they arent bothered where we park but that might change if diesel gets nicked

If your not fussed about facilities then park at Selby fork. Just google Selby fork hotel and there is massive laybys on the dual carriageway on both sides.
I’ve parked here a fair few times, either near Cemex or on Leeds Valley Business Park.

If you’ve no trailer then even easier to park up most places.
You might even find a spot just of motorway near a pub

True mate but to be honest, not paying for parking is the only fault with them. I’ve looked at other jobs but there is nothing around me that pays as much for doing such little work. We are never pushed and the work is so easy. The only reason I have been looking at other jobs is because I would like to start tramping again but financially I’d not be much better off than I am now in most of the jobs I’ve seen and I’d be working longer hours

Don’t park on Pheasant Drive 
. It’s already hard enough to negotiate it with selfish trampers abandoning their trucks opposite junctions and on the bends near Bedfords Transport making it impossible to see if there’s anything coming without more adding to it. The road badly needs double yellow lines putting all the way down it. The kerbside stinks of ■■■■ and bushes are filled with bags of feces thrown there from the dirty [zb]ers too.
Behind the mermaid fish shop at Morley on A650 24hr asda and pub there too,
