As it says will be in Glasgow Monday night with a mate in his motor to tip at Tennants , so is there any were to park 2 motors nearby please.

Avoid Lesmahagow like the plague.
Tesco do trailer swaps there all night and leave their sodding fridges running all the time.
The “highly trained Tesco operatives” also find it necessary to scream out of the truckstop at 3am whilst sounding their horns.

(ive not parked here myself - so i dont know how safe it is) but closest place to tennants i can think of is blochairn fruit market either inside with the lads waiting to be tipped in the morning or out on the main road :confused: very little amenities nearby but there is a pub on the main road - that does food. Its about 5/10 minutes away from Tennants.

if it was me id park in the righead industrial estate(bellshill) best place is near the fire station as they have just installed cctv on that street or park round at TNT/walkers crisps at least you can sleep easy as both these places are 24/7 and the police make regular patrols throughout the night - plenty of shops 10 minutes walk away with chippy,Chinese,spar,pub etc. Its about 20 minutes away from Tennants.

what ever you do - don’t park in any of the housing schemes in the eastend :wink:

Tennants is on duke street , 5 mins from junction 15(royal infirmary) M8

hmm i wouldnt know where to park along the east end, though if it it was the west end try murano street, just by the student digs, safe as {zb}

plus they have security there so if you speak nicely to them im sure they would let you stop in there and he`d watch out for you.

tbh you could not have recommended a worse place in Glasgow to park, the fruit market is a safer bet.

tennants glasgow are at blantyre lesmahgow or hamilton servicesare close dont get to tennants much before your booking time 15 mins missarble so so will send you away good luck

I would suggest Braehead where Ikea is ,I often go there with a coach when on theatre trips and the like seems ok to me.

Deff safest bet is fruit market even if they dont let you in , just park outside on blochairn road well lit road and busy with traffic so safe and only ten mins from tennants

There is official lorry park (according to old rusty signs), ALDI shop nearby and plenty of PUBs in Rutherglen City Centre. It not too bad part of the city as far as I am concerned too.

It’s outside my old job and there were lorries parked quite often for overnight as well. Downside is that there is an M74 construction here now, but if you will park deeper in industrial estate, it should be all right. And still close to Rutherglen for PUBs and take-aways and IG Glass is working late very often, guys there are all right, so you can always ask them to use their toilet or something.

Hillington ind est off jct26 is always a good parking area , well lit and security pass regular, pub and burger king handy also 2 petrol sations ! (shell and jet)

i parked in lesmahagow last thursday night…good food,showers,nice n quiet and less than 45mins to the west end of glasgow.spot on :slight_smile:

Paisley is ok, very safe, just dont get ripped off like I did, I payed £10 I think it was for a meal deal they had on and thought my parking was included, it wasnt and it cost me an extra £5 if i remember correctly, this was a few years ago though so they may have changed things.
