East Moors road, its the road heading down to the steelworks, theres plenty of wagons overnighting down there, its the red light district so plenty of people around including police. If you have internet look for Jewsons there’ll be a map.
id be carefull on eastmoors road, know of 3 people had side windows smashed and stuff taken while they have gone for food,a lot still park there but its a bit iffy at moment.
Was about to say the same, East Moors Rd is a definite no-go area.
If you get parking reimbursed, park at Cardiff Gate never had a problem there, a short 200 yd walk sees you safely in the Toby for a good carvery and a pint…proper lorry drivers night out.

I know someone who woke up at 0200 to find someone in his cab less than a week ago at Cardiff gate services, stole his trousers with his money in, grabbed his mobile phone which was plugged into the charger, the same night another trailer from the same firm was broken into and several laptop computers stolen, I won’t go into any more details but this is already fairly well known about “on the street”.
Ther were lots od pik…sorry travelers down by the steelworks years ago, don’t know if there still there.

Well sod me H, its only been about 4 years since i did any nights out and used to stop quite regularly ar Cardiff Gate for a Toby and pint, seems nowheres safe now.
In view of this ignore my previous posting Nick…
Never liked doing nights out in Cardiff. Head to the seafront in Barry if you have time. And Harry…Down wiv da kids on da streets!
Ive parked round at Travis Perkins on East Bay road a few times and its been ok, ive always made sure the diesel tank is secure by parking up against the railings/bushes.
If you’re looking for “quiet” in Cardiff, then maybe Ipswich Road CF23, still an industrial estate but dead quiet at night, a TGIF within walking distance too.
Harry is probably right about Ipswich road, there is also now a Frankie and bennies and all the usual suspects, McDonald’s, KFC, Burger King, and as stated above you really need to stay clear of anywhere to near rover way, there is to many gypsies!
You also have Cardiff west services, not sure how safe it is… I often pop into Cardiff west and Cardiff gate for breaks but have never stayed over night. Cardiff west is in the middle of nowhere though.
cheers guys ill have a crack wid boss and see about him payin for somewhere bloody hate tryin to park in south wales now
