Got to take a couple of cars to an event in the Centre of Bath soon. They only want the cars there for a few hours, probably about 6pm to 9:30pm, but I can’t leave the truck there while the event takes place.
Anybody think of somewhere I can park the truck?
Bath lorry park alongside the river. Follow signs for Southgate shoppping centre and you will see the lorry/coach park. £2 to park overnight but I have never seen anyone check but for 2 quid its not worth the risk.
Town centre is a 5 min walk with anything you need to waste time for a couple of hours
I did a few events in Bath in 1999, we were alowed to park the trucks round the back of the rugby ground, if it hasn’t changed you could ask there

The Rugby Club is even closer, I’ve got to call the venue on Monday so I’ll see what they’ve done in the past.

and I always stay until the water is nearly cold!
re parking - best to balance your trucks carefully around the edge so they don’t fall in the water - tricky with the roll top baths though!
