Evening guys, just wondering if there are any lay bys between these two places on the a487. Or any decent places I could park up for the night?

Yeah quite a few lay-bys fella as you head towards Porthmadog but they are not set back from the road so it could be a rocky night cars whizzing last at 70-80mph.
Alternatively you could park behind the morrisons in Caernarfon in the coach park I’m sure it’s free parking after a certain time,and your 2 mins walk from morrisons for the bogs and a sea view.
That morrisons one, turn right on the round about and follow the road Round , yeah?

Yes mate here…note not the petrol station roundabout it’s the actual supermarket one the one after if your heading from Bangor ect
Last time I went it was free if not you can reverse into morrisons yard to turn round and head for the lay-bys m.

There was a sign saying buses/coaches only last time i parked there just ignore that, I have been parked in there when the warden was wandering around the cars and he never come over and said anything.

I’m sure it said no hgvs up until a certain time,sure it was 5 or 6 pm

Just says only buses and coaches.
Car park is one way so if its full when you leave and ur in an artic then u will have to drive out the wrong way.

Nah just park in that place, morrisons just up the bank, chinese 2mins away.
I guarantee you wont get a ticket.

Don’t know about lay bys 
, never park in them, rather an absolute last resort than a first option. 
Try Pen y Groes ind est on the way out of Caernarfon to Porthmadog, handy for the town pubs for a decent meal.

There is the Cibyn Industrial estate just outside Caernarfon I’m pretty sure you can park there. Great curry house a fair walk away. Alternatively there is another small one between Penygroes and Llanlyfni I’m sure I’ve seen trucks parked there.

Just seen you’ve already got there. Enjoy I absolutely love that area, favourite place in the world. Watch out for the Cofi’s though.
