Can anyone recommend somewhere decent to park around Aylesford for tomorrow night? Preferably not services

You could try ringing the Oakdene cafe 01732 884873 on the A 20 at Wrotham. The layby opposite gets full up with flip flops, but there are lorries parked in the cafe car park. About a 10 minute drive from Aylesford. There is a pub, a restaurant and a hotel in easy walking distance along with a filling station shop about 50 yards away. Come off at the M26 A20 junction and head towards London cafe is about 100 yards on rhs. Or off at J2 M20 heading east , down Wrotham hill on A20 and it’s on the left 100yds before the Nepicar M20/M26 junction.

Harry’s right, up Beddow Way, Waitrose car park on right, turn right immediately after and park up there, usually couple of flip-flops parked there

I have often stopped at the Oakdene Cafe, lunch time and in the evening, last time about 2 years ago. It’s a great place for food, a traditional unspoilt truck stop, a real step back in time, including potholes in the parking area.
Staff there were really friendly every time I used the place. Parking area isn’t too big and gets filled up quickly, there is a little lay-by opposite, set back from the road.
Can’t remember if it’s Tuesday or Wednesday, but they used to have a bikers meet there, where the Cafe would stay open late, maybe still do.
Not great if you’ve got an early start, but you will see some fantastic bikes.

The layby has been shut off 
& the petrol station is undergoing a full rebuild 
Food rubbish in oakdene if that full go back to roundabout strait over lay-by on left on hill or carry on A20 Toward maidstne several small lay-bys dotted along there
