Anyone got alink to the WTD rule that says you must record 48 hours for a full week off (normal holiday entitlement). Our assessor says that we must record 40 hours because we only work 5 days .

If the weeks annual leave to be taken is from 00:00 Monday to 24:00 Sunday then it should be calculated as 48 hours otherwise it should be calculated as 8 hours per day.
This only applies to the 4 weeks statutory holiday entitlement for “Directive 2002/15/EC”, in the UK we get an extra 1.6 weeks annual leave which can be used to reduce the 48 hour average week over the reference period.
Thanks Tachograph, much appreciated.
