P45?

What’s the fuss, it’s only a scratch! Bit of t-cut, some elbow grease and filler and she’ll be good as new!

OH DEAR, WHAT A SHAME, [not]quite funny really,i do not like sports cars anyway,i was told once on a friday that i was jealous cos i did not like porsches,i replied that even if i won the lottery that saturday i still would not buy one, personally i think most sports cars are ugly and on another note,no doubt the owner has cut up hgv drivers in the past, its karma

What a strange comment Truckman20. Please tell us why, just because it’s a Ferrari that he must have cut a truck up?
Normally I find the opposite. Most powerful cars will wait as they can just power past whenever they choose, not when they get a slim possibility.
Also, the owner may have scrimped and saved to earn that. Why should it be funny that it’s damaged? I find it very strange in this country that we try and belittle people who try and achieve. Is it jealousy or just sheer ignorance.

I blame his sat nav. It was obviously at fault. . . . Heh heh

I’d be more embarrassed about reading the Daily Mail tbh.

In the drivers defence I used to deliver aluminium profiles and if you ended up with a multi drop in London the places you had to get with an artic were a joke it got that bad I refused to do 2 drops ,one was a bloke working from a shed where you wouldn’t of got a 7.5 tonner and the other a double glazing shop on a busy corner of clapham.
Needless to say the office couldn’t see my point of view.
Really is about time something was done about artics going to unsuitable places
Generally I didn’t mind a bit of London now and then but the thought of them multi drops round there again makes me feel sick…

Agreed with that.
Main routes should be ok for normal size artics, anything other than that it should be a 10mt urban trailer to give a driver a chance. and to top it a max height for all trailers not the 16’5 current for some bridge heights

Hang on a minute.Roads that are unsuitable for heavy vehicles are already marked.Artics have been driving round London for years and most do not have a problem.
A lot of the problem is caused by badly parked vehicles and not the fact the road is not suitable although in this case it appears to be poor judgement by the driver. We can all make mistakes but for sure some make far more than others.
I am sure most drivers can look at a corner and decide whether there is enough room to make the turn.As I said before if in doubt do not make the turn.
I think we need separate roads for incompetent drivers. That would surely make more sense.
Why do some want to make excuses for poor driving?

I think he was on about the roads as a whole in London are not up to allowing HGV’s in London. Plus they are only blue signs which are advising the driver it is unsuitable, not saying DON’T ENTER THIS ROAD

I think some responsibility lies with transport companies who send vehicles too large into what would obviously be a tight area.

Especially these days where the google car has already gone  But mapping has moved on a long way but most transport companies expect the drivers to show good judgement, then question their parentage and choices and the weaker ones would feel that it was their duty to carry on… and then we come to where we are now…

To be fair, I would have attempted it but tend to think more about the swing than most, having done a stint on vehicles with larger front and rear overhangs…
